Man Has Meltdown Over Shirtless Kylo Ren Photo—And It Kept Getting Funnier
Updated 4 months ago

We love fans who are super passionate about their fandom. It's great to totally geek out about something! We all absolutely have our unusual bits of trivia-knowledge, our fan theories, our alternate universes, our questionable fan-fic that features Capt. Jean-Luc Picard for some reason...we get it.

There are, of course, times a fan can take things to a weird place. Like really weird.

Take this guy, who has a Kylo Ren avatar, arguing about how not-hot the actor who plays Kylo Ren is as if it somehow personally offends him...

Yeah, that kind of weird:

It's the sort of pouty display a certain space-baddie would absolutely pull.

In his Twitter exchange, not-Kylo complained that he didn't understand why people thought Adam Driver looked like such a snack in the film.

And in the process, blessed the internet with the following unforgettable rant:

"I don't get why everybody is making a big deal over this. It's not like he has an 8 pack and defined pecs. It's just a regular body. If you think that's the pinnacle of male fitness, you haven't been around any bodybuilders or people who work out. His stomach is flat. No biceps. Regular chest. Someone who eats well (not me) but has never worked out a day in his life. I'm just tired of everybody making a big deal about this. He looks like an average guy. He has no muscle. I'm not gay or anything, I just don't see how girls can swoon over this."

The account he commented on called him out for trying to tell women what they should be attracted to. Not-Kylo countered by saying women were entitled to be attracted to whoever and whatever they wanted. He then immediately doubled down by reiterating that Adam Driver doesn't have a muscular physique, as if that was the only thing women could be into even though he was just told by a woman that she didn't like overly muscular physiques.

Or as if we didn't all have eyeballs and couldn't totally see that Adam does, indeed, have muscle tone and strength.

There was no way Twitter wasn't going to have a little something-something to say about this...

Driver's military experience came up almost immediately...

But mostly, people were stunned at how very Kylo Ren Not-Kylo could be...

In closing, this:
