KFC Just Mocked President Trump And Went After McDonald's At The Same Time

KFC in Ireland and the UK took to Twitter to mock Donald Trump. The U.S. President embarrassed himself yesterday by clapping back at an assumed insult from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Trump tweeted the following:

Riffing on Trump's tweet, KFC UK & Ireland took on competitor McDonald's in a Twitter smackdown:

McDonald’s leader Ronald just stated he has a “burger on his desk at all times”. Will someone from his big shoed, red nosed regime inform him that I too have a burger on my desk, but mine is a box meal which is bigger and more powerful than his, and mine has gravy! #nuclearbutton

The insult to the President is particularly harsh considering Trump clearly loves his KFC.

Many people think Trump has embarrassed the United States.

Plenty of people didn't appreciate the fast food chain using the threat of nuclear war as a marketing gimmick.

While others thought KFC was trying to out-snark the reigning fast food Twitter champ, Wendy's.

Fried chicken, tweets, and nuclear weapons. Welcome to 2018!
