Woman Accidentally Sends Selfie To Sarah Michelle Gellar—And Sarah Just Responded

In an excited text to her sister, newly engaged Charlyn Willis sent a selfie she took in her car showing her new engagement ring. Only, what Willis didn't know was that her sister never received the message. Turns out she sent it to the wrong number...and what a number it was.

Hilariously, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Sarah Michelle Gellar received the selfie and decided to share the love on her Facebook and Instagram accounts inviting her fans and followers to celebrate and send well wishes to the happy couple.

Gellar captioned the post:

“This is #CharlynWillis. She got engaged yesterday, and meant to text her sister, but in all the excitement, got me instead. Her sister didn’t respond, but I did. So please help me say congrats, to Charlyn. (And her fiancé whose name I don’t know) #congratulations.”

Good thing the engagement wasn't a secret.

Willis was thrilled that Gellar had announced her engagement and reached out to thank the actress:

Omg! Thank you Sarah! His name is Dennis! Thank you so much for this. You’ve truly made my engagement experience even more of a life changer! Please know when we set a date, I’ll be reaching out to invite you, Freddie, and the kids!

Now the two women seem to be buds.

Willis posted this update explaining the confusion:

Keeping the good vibes flowing, Gellar responded:

Willis was shocked by the attention...

And Gellar was there again lending support...

And hey, why not shoot for the moon...

There's been no word on whether or not anyone is picking up the wedding tab, but either way, it was an engagement announcement she'll never forget.
