Being a live news broadcaster isn't easy. If something can go wrong, it probably will at some point and it's the broadcaster's job to maintain a cool head while things go sideways. BBC political correspondent Emma Vardy just proved she's got the right stuff for this sort of thing. Her live segment discussing the future of "Brexit" was interrupted by loud NSFW moaning courtesy of a team of pranksters.
Aside from a brief moment of seeming confusion about where the sounds were coming from, the prank didn't really seem to phase Vardy. The morning show hosts had some great reaction faces of their own. Naga Munchetty has fabulous poker face, but her co-host's emotions are a bit easier to read.
Charlie may have missed the humor, and one media outlet described the incident as "horrifying" to viewers, so we decided to scour Twitter and see what people were actually saying about it.
Someone kept playing one of those videos that has sex noises on bbc breakfast while a reporter was doing a piece to camera, good job keeping a straight face π #bbc #bbcbreakfast #bbcnews
