Using 100 helium-filled balloons, Tom Morgan from Bristol, England, sailed 8000 feet into the air and traveled more than 15 miles over Johannesburg, South Africa. He attached the balloons to a camping chair and strapped himself in for the ride.
The problem was finding a good weather window and it was difficult to protect the balloons as they kept bursting.
