Asia’s Richest Man Performs Michael Jackson-Inspired Dance, Becomes Internet Hero

Office parties in most of America tend to be subdued affairs. Even the big ones may feature some entertainment, but probably nothing like what Jack Ma, the CEO of Alibaba, just came up with for the company's 18th "birthday party." Ma, the wealthiest man in Asia, decided to embrace his inner Michael Jackson and put on a performance that won't soon be forgotten. Ma and his backup dancers attempted some iconic moves to some iconic hits.

The six-minute performance opens with Ma dismounting a motorcycle, taking a few steps and striking this epic pose:

Ma does an actual magic trick to summon some dancers, because no MJ homage is complete without backup:

He follows up with some calisthenics, we guess?

Then we get an ensemble dance before Ma (and his motorcycle) make a grand exit. The routine, understandably, made some social media waves.

Plenty of people were quick to point out that Ma is most certainly not a trained dancer:

But others realized the value in the performance wasn't necessarily that it was good, but that it was entertaining and unique for a CEO to do:

People seem pretty torn on whether this is cringeworthy or the coolest thing any boss has ever done. Maybe it's a bit of both?
