Mom Loses It In Rant Against Parents Who Complain About Going Back-To-School Shopping
It's back-to-school season, which means parents are out shopping for kid's school supplies, many of them complaining about the costs every step of the way. One mother, however, has had enough of parent's gripes. Facebook vlogger Dena Blizzard thinks parents need to stop complaining - that is, unless they're the full-time teachers who handle kids every week day for most of the year:
I’ve been noticing lately, when people are doing their back to school shopping, everybody’s complaining. And my thing is… Listen. It’s the end of August. I will give you anything to take my kids. I’ll get you a yellow binder or get you a red binder.
Dena then goes on a hilarious shopping spree, listing the items she'd be willing to give a teacher in exchange from some free time away from her kids. Luggage? Rugs? Microwaves? Of course!
Maybe a welcome mat?
About half way through, Dena has to take a quick wine break. It's been a long summer.
Dena leaves the store with a treasure trove of goodies - teachers are truly answering a higher calling, and deserve a reward for everything they do. ESPECIALLY giving our homes some precious silence for the first time in 3 months.
