Hurricane Harvey, the first category 4 hurricane to hit the U.S. in decades, slammed into Texas this past Friday, August 25th. With winds reaching speeds of over 130 miles per hour, it was obviously a dangerous event, and newscasters from around the country had the unenviable task of traveling right into the storm to report on what was happening. However, one such reporter, Casey Stegall, got a pleasant surprise from a resident of Galveston, Texas, who interrupted his live broadcast to give him a 6-pack of "Galveston beer."
That was awesome. Warmed my heart. Such good people in TX. You are an excellent reporter. You deserve it! 🍻 Stay safe.— Daws970 (@daws970) August 25, 2017
