Michael Bolton Just Sang The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Theme In The Style Of A 90's Song

Many pop-culture connoisseurs have two great loves: moody 90s television theme songs and Game of Thrones. The geniuses over at Honest Trailers, in honor of their second Emmy nomination, went all out with a little help from Michael Bolton. The crew penned new theme songs to several Emmy-nominated TV shows, and asked a few big names to perform them in the style of some classic tunes.

But first, Bolton lets a few friends tackle other Emmy-nominated shows.

Natasha Bedingfield, whose hit “Unwritten” played during The Hills opening credits, takes on Stranger Things:

For This is Us, Brian Cole pays homage to the Cheers theme:

Paula Cole covers her own song “I Don’t Want to Wait,” from Dawson’s Creek to capture the dystopian tone of The Handmaid's Tale:

Finally, it's Bolton's time to shine. He, of course, requests to do the new Game of Thrones theme song. The Screen Junkies protest since Thrones isn't nominated for an Emmy this year, but Michael stares them down:
