Everyone knows there are things online you can't unsee and this post—about a man who received a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups sans the peanut butter and was rewarded heftily—is one of them.
The stroke of good fortune happened to Reddit user alexbchillin. Well, he "be chillin'" alright—chillin' with his mega stacks of free Reese's cups after he posted a pic of the all-chocolate anomalies on Reddit and received a hand-written apology from Reese's in the mail along with a treasure trove of treats.
Be prepared to drool (and remember once you've seen this, you'll never be the same):
Peeps were envious, or is it jealous? What's the difference between envy and jealousy again? WHO CARES! WE ALL JUST WANT TO BE REWARDED WITH BOXES OF REESE'S TOO!
Starting immediately, I'm going to start praying I bite into an empty peanut butter cup.— David Stehle (@davidstehle) April 19, 2018
The hunt is on:
Some were practically reduced to begging:
All my reeses have always had pb in them but can you still send me some ?— Bree (@NoAmor1994) April 18, 2018
When I click on the link thinking this is about Reese Witherspoon 🙈— Ang (@Ang_elene) April 19, 2018
A champion of the brand:
There's just something so sad about this:
Yo wtf I got a box of hot pockets and there was nothing in the bread why didn’t I do anything— Michael (@Michael42333316) April 19, 2018
No strings attached here...
Ohhhh... I'll continue to buy Reese's even if I don't run across an amazing discovery like this.— @fueledbymunchies (@Taurusdad) April 18, 2018
Good thing Reese's made it right because as we all know it's the "two great tastes that taste great together" that keep us coming back for more:
Next stop: 7-Eleven.
