Ryan Reynolds just gave Betty White a shout out for her birthday. The iconic actress, known for such legendary shows as The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls––and who played Reynolds' grandmother in 2009's The Proposal––turned 96 years old.
When asked how she "stays young," the actress once quipped that she eats her favorite foods, including vodka and hot dogs.
Reynolds, who played superhero Deadpool in 2016's smash hit, sent this Instagram post to White, captioning it " “Happy Birthday to the one and only @bettymwhite ! Cheers to another year of ‘Tinis and Weenies!”
Reynolds wasn't the only one sending birthday wished to the legend. Twitter blew up. So much so, in fact, that people put out warnings that no, she hadn't died; all was well, it was just her birthday.
“It’s your outlook on life that counts. If you take yourself lightly and don’t take yourself too seriously, pretty soon you can find the humor in our everyday lives. And sometimes it can be a lifesaver.” Happy 96th birthday, Betty White! pic.twitter.com/IFg3yh4R6B— Tribeca (@Tribeca) January 17, 2018
So grab a 'tini & weenie and raise a glass to the one and only! Happy birthday Betty White!
