Dallas School Asks For Volunteer 'Dads' For Event—And They Got A Massive Response

Dade Middle School in Dallas, Texas hosted a special event,  "Breakfast With Dads" for boys recently and, at first they feared a lackluster attendance.

Rev. Donald Ray Parish Jr. told local news that they were asked to get a few extra men to serve as "surrogate fathers" and mentors to boys whose fathers couldn't make it, or children who don't have a father in their lives. So they asked for a mere 50 extra men to give of their time and instead of 50 they got.... 600 attendees!

Now that is how community works. THAT is manning up!

Several of the men discussed their reason for attending. One man said, "In my life, I had men around me that always gave me an opportunity and provided me with support so I just wanna do the same thing."

A few of the surrogate dads showed up with ties to teach the young boys a very vital lesson.

Finding and tying the right tie is essential in a successful man.

To say this went over well on social media would be an understatement.

That is one generation paying it forward. That is humanity at it's best!

Cheers gentlemen!
