Pringles has solved all the stresses of Thanksgiving. Okay well, not all the problems. You still have to put up with that chatty aunt who still thinks you're nine and your Dad may nag you about your life choices, but as far as cooking a huge dinner, Pringles comes to the rescue. The snack company has introduced a full Thanksgiving feast — out of potato chips! All the flavors are here, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, creamed corn, green bean casserole, mac & cheese and pumpkin pie.
Most of us won't see these potato wonders for some time, as it's still in the 'pilot taste test' phase, but Food and Wine Magazine had the opportunity to try out the chip meal.
Overall the results were positive with a couple of standouts, turkey and surprisingly, green bean casserole. There were also a couple of clunkers, with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie not fairing too well. One upside the magazine pointed out was the "staking of flavors" which is recommended by Pringles.
