After the recent death of former First Lady Barbara Bush, the White House released an official statement. Unfortunately, people noticed a typo after President Trump shared it on Twitter.
Bush died on Tuesday but, according to the White House, she passed away on April 17... 2017.
Let's take a closer look:
The typo has since been corrected but Twitter users didn't let the White House forget it.
Re: The White House typo on message about Barbara Bush's. I wrote the marketing material for professional theatre companies over the years. EVERYONE in the office had to read for errors and sign. 14 people.— Anne Boleyn (@MsAnneBoleyn) April 18, 2018

Is there an opening at the White House?
And oh, the irony:
We offer our sincere condolences to the Bush family.
