UK Defense Minister Thinks Russia Should 'Go Away' And 'Shut Up' After Poisoning Incident

Fielding a recent question about how Russia should respond to the U.K.'s expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats following the Salisbury poisoning, British Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson responded:

What we will do is we will look at how Russia responds to what we have done. It is absolutely atrocious and outrageous what Russia did in Salisbury. We have responded to that.
Frankly, Russia should go away and should shut up

He seems to be taking his lead from President Donald Trump's dumbing down of diplomacy, with rhetoric like this on immigration:

We're rounding 'em up in a very humane way, in a very nice way. And they're going to be happy because they want to be legalized. And, by the way, I know it doesn't sound nice. But not everything is nice.

Or this comment on global warming:

The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive. 

It's easy to see why people are losing faith in world leaders here and abroad.
