President Donald Trump has earned somewhat of a reputation for belittling and looking down on others while in office, and apparently, that includes his own government officials.
Trump has reached a new low point with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, as he reportedly refers to him as "Mr. Magoo" at the White House. Mr. Magoo is a well-loved cartoon character, who is a high-profile millionaire who wreaks havoc on other people – and he also happens to have a few physical similarities to Sessions.
No one is quite sure what this nickname means or implies:
But, from what we gather on the old-school character and their relationship, it isn't a good thing. Could be a comment regarding his appearance, or his other attributes, or even his older age.
Some are far from surprised, as the President is no stranger to calling and being called a plethora of nicknames that were far from kind.
Tons of people online are in complete disagreement with his comparison.
Some are making a note that he failed to think of the good qualities people loved about Mr. Magoo:
I’m outraged because Trump has ruined Mr Magoo for me— Jocelyn Davis (@Jocelyn43387801) March 1, 2018
And, as one would probably expect at this point, other people are throwing insults right back at Trump:
At least "Mr. Magoo" is a fully realized mean nickname instead of just a mean adjective tacked onto someone's real name.— J. Elvis Weinstein (@JElvisWeinstein) March 1, 2018
