Intelligence Director To Senate Intel Committee: 'Frankly, The United States Is Under Attack'
Updated 3 months ago

Intelligence Director Dan Coats says the United States faces cyber-security threats from Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. He also warned the Senate Intelligence Committee that the 2018 midterm elections are susceptible to foreign interference.

Frankly, the United States is under attack. Under attack by entities that are using cyber to penetrate virtually every major action that takes place in the United States.

Adding salt to the wound, Coats went on to explain that "there’s no single agency in charge” of preventing Russia from meddling once again in the mid-term election.

In a series of tweets, Anthony Capaccio of Bloomberg/Quint laid out Coats' dire warning for the security of the U.S.

Considering the low turnout of the last election and the chaos that followed, there are no signs Russians would lighten up.

People are feeling pretty cynical when it comes to Trump and Russian collusion.
