Donald Trump really likes Tom Brady, but does he like him enough to use his daughter woo him into the family? Ivanka, Trump's oldest daughter and subject to a stomach-turning litany of her father's expressions of physical attraction, was encouraged to date Brady, according to the new book Raising Trump by Ivanka's mother and Trump's first ex-wife Ivana Trump.
A passage from the book claims:
At one point, Donald wanted her to date Tom Brady, the quarterback. He said, 'You have to meet him!' But Ivanka wasn't into it.
That's about all that's in the book on the subject, though for what it's worth Anthony Scaramucci, the King for A Day of the Trump campaign, went on TMZ Live a while back to gossip about how mayyyyyyybe Brady missed the post-Super Bowl Patriots' visit to the White House because his wife Gisele Bundchen didn't trust him in the room with Ivanka because mayyyyyybe they had a thing for a bit. Brady claimed that he missed the visit due to family obligations, which isn't necessarily a total evasion.
Scandalous? Salacious? Scaramuccious?
Brady was spotted with a "Make America Great Again" hat at the escalator-floaty onset of the Trump campaign.
He defended his relationship with President Trump more recently:
Why does that make such a big deal? ... If you know someone, it doesn't mean that you agree with everything that they say or do. Right?
