Fox News host Sean Hannity gave viewers an earful Friday night when he weighed in on the release of the Nunes memo regarding the ongoing Russia investigation. President Trump agreed to make the memo public, in part due to Hannity's insistence that the four-page document would exonerate the Trump administration.
Here's Hannity's passionate yet questionably assessment of the memo's findings:
Hannity continued his misinformed rant on Twitter:
An unprecedented Government abuse of power and corruption case. Those involved used HRC bought and paid for Russian lies as the basis to obtain a FISA warrant vs an opposition party candidate and Potus elect. And worse, they knew it was full of lies, and not verified.— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) February 2, 2018
And then it was game on for The Daily Show, who put together their own word jumble to troll Hannity:
It's almost too easy to poke fun at Hannity. Look at all those Republican buzzwords in one (admittedly fake news) headline!
Twitter users were fully on board:
Thanks to Fox drinking game rules I just died of alcohol poisoning.— Maurice Connolly (@mauxco) February 2, 2018

What’s so sad is that I don’t know if this is even a joke. We’ve gotten to that point.— Ben Anderson (@BenjaminTHA) February 2, 2018
Have we reached the point where we can't tell a Daily Show joke from an actual Fox News screenshot?
Hahahahahaha. What a joke the memo is. Seriously, that’s the best you got. Sad for our country that the fake news republicans are willing to expose top secret information for this fraud. Tell me again how bad Hillary’s emails were— James A (Jim) Bailey (@jimbailey56) February 2, 2018
The fact that it took be a few seconds to realize this was joke is very telling of the status quo.— Duane Byram (@duano) February 2, 2018
That would be funny, but, it's slightly dangerous in that Fux news watchers will believe this.— Philip Thompson (@gra_design) February 2, 2018
