Trump Tells Reporter He's 'The Least Racist Person You Have Ever Interviewed'

Last week, in a bi-partisan meeting discussing immigration, President Trump referred to Haiti, El Salvador, and other African countries as "s***holes" before actively wondering why America couldn't get more immigrants from countries like Norway. Trump's comments were incredibly racist, which prompted many news outlets to ask The President: "Are you a racist?"

Goodness knows what answer they were expecting, but here's how Trump responded:

I’m not a racist. I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed, that I can tell you.

Trump has denied that he made the comments multiple witnesses watched him make, and has insisted he's the least-racist person his reporters have ever interviewed. Twitter isn't quite buying it.

When asked whether he was racist on MLK Jr. day, Trump ignored the question and left the room. Though, honestly, that may have been the preferable PR move when compared to a bold-faced lie.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to muddy the truth about what he actually said in the meeting:

And the resulting controversy surrounding his comments have caused immigration reform to stall, even as Democrats and Republicans neared an agreement behind closed doors.

But who knows! Maybe the President really is one of the least racist people in the world.

Oh wait...
