This past Sunday Oprah Winfrey gave a rousing speech at the Golden Globes when she became the first woman of color to win the Cecil B. DeMille Award. In her speech, Winfrey touched on systemic racism and misogyny, as well as the importance of free speech and the need to call out injustice. And she wrapped it all up with an inspiring call to action.

On Monday, Winfrey's longtime partner Stedman Graham stoked the fires by telling the LA Times that, "she would absolutely do it." And then Rasmussen conducted a poll, which they released Wednesday, pitting Oprah against President Trump. Their results show that if the election were held today, Winfrey would beat the President by ten points. This is especially interesting considering the fact that Rasmussen polls often lean to the right.

This has to stop. Just saw her selling her Weight Watchers food on TV...this isn't a president. Haven't we learned yet?— Debra Isaacs Schafer (@EdNavigation) January 11, 2018
End this fantasy now. We need another Obama, someone who fully understands politics, the government, and how DC works. Oprah’s call-to-action was about empowering US, not a possible Winfrey presidential run.— Richard Armitage US (@RArmitage_US) January 11, 2018
She's not running. It was just a moment bc of the way she delivers a message and gets everyone hyped.— Marky.D (@mardic123) January 11, 2018
