After Oprah Winfrey's powerful speech at the Golden Globes, talk is swirling in the media and on social media that the beloved actress/talk show host should run for the presidency in 2020. The water-cooler conversation made it's way to a press conference with the cast of the new revamped 90's hit Roseanne.
Roseanne Barr was asked by reporters if she would support Oprah in the White House. The comedian responded:
“I do love Oprah. Of course, I love Oprah like everybody else. But you know what? I think it was time for us as a country to shake things up and, you know, try something different."
A reporter then asked Barr if she would vote for Susan Sarandon (who has made no mention that she would run.) to which the comedian responded:
“Actually, I think I’d be a better president than Oprah and Susan Sarandon, probably even President Trump. And I did run in 2012.”
Twitter had a good laugh at this. Which is great, since the comedian was most likely kidding or at the very least being flippant.
Still, people couldn't help but way in on who would be better, Oprah or Roseanne.
This could go on for a while, so some folks settled in for the long haul.

Things suddenly took a strange turn.
The Rock would be better. I've heard many. many rumours that he is basically taking a political science degree and educating himself to gear up for a 2020 run.Speeches are nice but I'd much prefer someone who was more "meat and potatoes" then "talk show host"— Scareythoughts (@Scareythoughts2) January 9, 2018
The way America is going...a Muppet's shit would be a good choice!— David Cooper (@DavidCo88082675) January 9, 2018
Then Chauncey Turman came up with a solution to settle this debate once and for all.
There's only one way to settle this. I'll go get the air hockey table....— Chauncey Turman (@TurmanChauncey) January 9, 2018
