It all started the day after Thanksgiving when Trump jumped on Twitter to make what most people would kindly consider a "hard to believe" statement about Time Magazine's, Person of the Year. Maybe the President was still tripping on tryptophan, but here is what he said:
Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 24, 2017

But none of that came close to the whopper Andy Lassner, executive producer of The Ellen Show, dropped on Trump Saturday morning.
