Paul Ryan Wants Trump And Corker To "Talk It Out"

President Trump's ongoing feud with Tennessee Senator Bob Corker shows no signs of letting up. Corker, the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, recently talked about his Twitter dispute with Trump over Corker's decision not to seek reelection at the end of his term. The Twitter battle began early Sunday morning, and that evening Corker told the New York Times:

Sometimes I feel like he’s on a reality show of some kind, you know, when he’s talking about these big foreign policy issues. And, you know, he doesn’t realize that, you know, that we could be heading towards World War III with the kinds of comments that he’s making.

World War III?

Enter House Speaker Paul Ryan, who admits he's had his share of feuds with President Trump. Trump often spoke out against Ryan for initially refusing to endorse his candidacy, and then later declining to campaign with him after Access Hollywood released recordings of Trump openly admitting to sexually assaulting women. But that's all in the past!

Ryan has some advice for President Trump and Senator Bob Corker: just talk it out.

In case you missed that, Ryan said:

I think it's just talk it out among yourselves. I think my advice is for these two gentleman to sit down and just talk through their issues. I think that’s the best way to get things done.

Liberal and conservative commentators weighed in on the feud:

Republicans in Congress have urged Trump and Corker to end their feud so the party can focus on legislation:

And Twitter users don't know what to make of Ryan's advice:

Will Trump and Corker hug it out? Chances seem slim.
