After Recent Jab By NBC, Trump Wonders If Networks' Licenses Should Be Revoked

Between his perceived mishandling of the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, his divisive focus on the NFL protests, his open feud with senior Republican Senator Bob Corker, and his continued tensions with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, President Trump has been receiving a lot of negative attention in the press lately. He's apparently so fed up with television networks like NBC that he's begun to openly question whether he should revoke their "network licenses."

Putting aside for a moment that the licenses Trump is referring to do not exist, demonstrating just how little Trump knows about the subject, there's something else amiss with his line of thinking.

Many see Trump's empty threat as a clear affront to citizens' first amendment rights:
