Trump Announces Women’s Equality Day—The Night Before It Happened

Donald Trump decided to declare Saturday, August 26th Women's Equality Day: a decision which he made on Friday, August 25th.

As always, Trump claims to have everybody's back, stating “My Administration will continue to support the advancement of women, in every corner of the Nation."

The purported purpose of Women’s Equality Day is to “honor America’s female pioneers.” “These resilient women have inspired others to challenge the status quo in order to advance the ultimate American value: that all men and women are created equal.” Trump calls “on the people of the United States to celebrate the achievements of women and observe this day with appropriate programs and activities.”

Finding it hard to believe?  We are, too.

So let's keep our eyes peeled for what's to come next, following this grammatically flawed proclamation.
